Selected students from Saint Augustine School Inc. (Mendez) participated in the 1st National Vocation Festival at Rogationist College, Silang, Cavite. With the event's theme, "Sa Tawag ng Mabuting Pastol, Sama-samang Magmimisyon! Tena't Magkarakol!" It aims to guide the youth in their call for vocation, whether in the form of a single, married, or religious life such as priests and nuns. With the Good Shepherd's call to a vocational life, the youth may find a connection in their role as disciples of Jesus through the activities offered at this historic event.

The event started with a 'karakol' from various dioceses in the country. It was then followed by the enthronement of the cross and a Eucharistic mass, presided over by Most Rev. Charles J. Brown, D.D., Apostolic Nuncio of the Holy See in the Philippines. After this, there was an opening production and a session titled "Ask Ko Lang, Share Ko Lang," with guests Rev. Fr. Juvelan Paul Samia, for the vocation of the priesthood; Dr. Ryan Capitulo, for the vocation of single blessedness; and Mr. Raffy Tima and Mrs. Mariz Umali, for the vocation of marriage.

It was then followed by another session titled "Eto Na Nga: Sinodalidad at Bokasyon" and Tagpuan, where the youth may find direction for their chosen vocation. There was also a concert, praise, and worship where the youth could express their faith through singing and music. May this event help the student participants strive for direction as they respond to the Good Shepherd's call to vocational life.
